Poloniex Cryptocurrency Exchange Launches New Institutional Accounts

Poloniex, one of the leading crypto-to-crypto exchanges based in the U.S. and owned by Goldman Sachs-backed Circle, has announced and launched institutional accounts.

Since acquiring Poloniex, Circle has been working hard to professionalize the cryptocurrency exchange, improving customer support and is now launching an institutional account type.

Benefits of institutional accounts

Unlike retail investors and day traders, institutional investors have very particular needs and Poloniex is ready to cater to them.

According to the official press release, institutional investors, big and small, will benefit from a dedicated support team as well as an advanced API.

Although more information was not available in the original news release, we can only assume that these accounts will come equipped with advanced reporting, higher deposit and withdraw limits and a set of tools for asset managers.

We’ve reached out to the Poloniex Institutional team but we have not heard back from them by press time.
